Allison Murphy has been a proud member of the ACM team since 2021. Having worked in education for over 8 years, she was drawn to A Confident Mindset™’s core values and messaging: Confidence is for every learner and it is something that can and should be taught. In her experiences working both in middle and high school classrooms, she has seen the need for this type of education as well as the potential that it holds to empower students for generations to come. 

Allison began her journey with ACM in a curriculum writing role to help develop the teacher materials and lessons that are now used today. Knowing the stressors (and joys!) of being an educator, it was important to her to help create materials that are user friendly, no prep, meaningful, and accessible to every learner. 

Allison's role has since evolved into one where she helps create teacher trainings, course materials, and resources for administrators and staff alike.

Prioritizing her learners and ensuring that education is accessible for all is highly important to Allison and has been a motivator for her to continue growing and learning in her field. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree through Northern Illinois University in Literacy Education with a Focus on ESL/Bilingual. 

Outside of her work with ACM, Allison enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time with her friends and family. Though her priority with A Confident Mindset™ has been to help instill confidence in others, she has found that many of the program’s core principles have motivated her to continue to develop confidence in her own personal passions and goals!
